RiffRumble 19 "Road Trip" Song Contest
Call for Entries: June 12 - 25, 2012

The theme for the next RiffRumble song contest is Road Trip! Record an epic song with RiffWorks (Mac/Win) or FourTrack (iPhone) on your own, or collaborate with up to 4 friends worldwide using RiffLink online song collaboration. Entries accepted June 12 - 25. Visit Sonoma Wire Works at Musikmesse in in Frankfurt, Germany (stand 5.1 A-70). Stop by to check out Sonoma's GuitarJack interface for iPhone/iPad/iPod touch with 1/4-inch instrument and 1/8-inch stereo mic/line inputs. It's the only interface that offers mono, stereo, and simultaneous instrument and voice recording when used with apps that support those features like FourTrack (now) and StudioTrack (soon). Also works with Apple's GarageBand. Sonoma's DrumCore and RiffWorks will also be available as demos.

Sonoma will also be displaying a several of the 92 iOS apps by 42 companies that share audio on the iPhone/iPad using AudioCopy/Paste, including:

Over 100 musicians recorded a love song with RiffWorks (Mac/Win) or FourTrack (iPhone) on their own, or collaborated with up to 4 friends worldwide using RiffLink online song collaboration. Over $3200 in prizes were up for grabs, including a Taylor GS Mini guitar, Taylor ES-Go Pick Up, GuitarJack iOS interface, Recording Magazines, and Sonoma Wire Works software and hardware. GAMA Teaching Guitar Workshops
Every summer, hundreds of school teachers in the US and Canada attend GAMA workshops to learn to teach guitar to their students. For the past 3 summers, Sonoma has supported these teachers by providing them with RiffWorks recording software the KitCore drum plug-in for Windows and MacOS, as well as iOS apps for the iPhone/iPad/iPod touch. RiffRumble 16 Song Contest for RiffWorks Users

Sonoma Wire Works RiffRumble 16 song contest for RiffWorks T4 free recording software and RiffWorks Standard users. The theme for this contest was "Heroes". Over 100 Contestants worldwide participated. Over $4000 in prizes were up for grabs, including a Taylor SolidBody Standard Double Cutaway guitar, DrumCore 3 VST/RTAS/AU plugin and drum loops, Discrete Drums Pro Set of 24-bit multitrack drum loops, RiffWorks InstantDrummer sessions, 1 year of RiffLink online song collaboration, the GuitarJack iOS accessory, and more. The Public Record: Tommy Lee!
Tommy Lee used The Public Record record to find help recording his new album. Methods of Mayhem, Lee's solo project, invited fans to contribute to their new album. Starting October 5, 2009 fans will be able to download stems of the album and add their own musical ideas using a variety of software including RiffWorks T4 (free), RiffWorks Standard ($129) and the FourTrack iPhone App. The best submissions will be included on the new album when it is released in the Spring of 2010.
